Progress Update from Kyaka II Refugee Settlement in Kyegegwa district.

We’re proud to share the growing impact of our consortium efforts between SEE Impact, Oxfam Uganda, URDMC, and UN Women in advancing climate-smart agriculture and agroforestry across refugee settlements in Uganda.

In Kyaka II, we recently (May 7th, 2025) distributed tree seedlings to smallholder farmers, empowering communities to adopt agroforestry practices that enhance food security, build climate resilience, and restore degraded landscapes. 🌍💧🌿

Our joint initiative is more than just planting trees — it’s about nurturing hope, rebuilding livelihoods, and creating sustainable, inclusive ecosystems where both refugees and host communities thrive.
